Meeeeeeeeeeeee
You better believe I’ll snap up another one to use as a top case. I figure with cold and wet season upon us, the ability to store gear will be more important than shredding corners. And scraping pegs.
I even added an extended windscreen! I’m really hoping this will get the cold air to go above my neck, as that’s my least protected area in terms of wind resistance.
Now I just need some national park stickers and handgaurds!

Nice. Do you have heated grips? I’ve thought about getting some for my Suzuki

I do! They are very helpful, but you definitely do get the hot palms, freezing fingers thing. I think they would be perfect if you also had handgaurds

Heated grips are okay for thos
e
chilly morning rides in the fall
and spring
but if you’re actually going to be riding all year through winter then I’d go heated gear.

An electric vest is the shit for extending the tolerable riding temp range downward.

I have absolutely used one of those as a top case for my KLR and was able to fit a surprising amount of groceries in it. Fo
r about two weeks, I rode everywhere and did everything on it. Side bags and cases are nice, but a top case is so convenient for getting a lot done on two wheels.
